Spacebound Marketing (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a marketing agency operated by Hannan Subhani. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and what rights you have over it.

Who we are

Spacebound Marketing is a sole-trader business based in the UK. For any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at hello@spaceboundmarketing.com.

What we collect

When you use one of our contact forms: your name, email address, and any phone number or message you choose to include. When you request a consultation: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, your preferred date and time, and details of what you’re looking for. We don’t collect payment details on this site. We don’t sell anything here, and any paid work is quoted and invoiced separately.

Why we collect it

We use this information only to reply to your enquiry, arrange and confirm a consultation or booking you’ve requested, and keep a record of client communications for our own bookkeeping. We don’t use your details for marketing emails, newsletters, or anything you haven’t directly asked us for, and we don’t sell or share your data with third parties for their own marketing.

Legal basis

We process this data under legitimate interest (responding to enquiries you’ve initiated) and, where a booking is made, to take steps towards a contract at your request.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking details for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, for the duration of that relationship plus a reasonable period afterwards for bookkeeping (normally up to 6 years, in line with UK tax record-keeping requirements). If nothing comes of an enquiry, we won’t keep it indefinitely.

Who else sees it

This site is built on Squarespace, which hosts the site and processes form submissions on our behalf as a data processor. This includes basic site analytics if you accept analytics cookies. Squarespace’s own privacy policy covers how they handle data at the infrastructure level: squarespace.com/privacy. Form submissions are also emailed to our business inbox, which is hosted by Zoho Mail and acts as our data processor. Our consultation form uses Google reCAPTCHA to block spam, so Google processes some technical information about your visit, such as your IP address; Google’s privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy. We don’t use any other third-party tool to process your personal data at this time.

Cookies

This site uses a small number of cookies.

Essential cookies are set by Squarespace to keep the site secure, make it work properly and remember your cookie choice. These are always on.

Analytics cookies are also set by Squarespace, but only if you choose “Accept all” or allow them under “Manage cookies”. They help us understand how the site is used, such as which pages people visit, so we can improve it.

Google reCAPTCHA checks that consultation form submissions aren’t spam, and may set its own cookies when you use that form.

We don’t use advertising cookies, and no data from this site is shared with ad networks. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all cookies, decline the non-essential ones, or choose which to allow. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” button at the bottom of the page.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to stop processing it, and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you think we’ve handled your data wrongly. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our services change. The “last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
